Small-batch estate wines, grown and pressed on our Calistoga benchlands — each vintage a quiet conversation between volcanic soil, valley fog, and time.
Pecota Robert Winery began with a simple belief: that the best wine doesn't need to announce itself. Our Calistoga benchland vineyard sits at the foot of the Vaca Mountains, where ancient lava flows and alluvial fans create a patchwork of soils that demand patience and attention.
We farm by hand. We ferment with native yeasts whenever the fruit allows it. We age in French oak that we source from coopers who understand restraint. The result is wine that tastes of a specific place — not a style, not a trend, but the particular warmth of a Calistoga afternoon and the cool breath of the valley at dusk.
Wines from our estate vineyard, produced in limited quantities each year.
2021
Blackcurrant, cedar, volcanic minerality. Structured yet approachable with three years of bottle age.
2022
White peach, hazelnut, a whisper of smoke. Barrel-fermented with subtle oak integration.
2023
Wild strawberry, citrus peel, saline finish. Direct press, stainless steel, meant for this summer.
Our tasting room opens by appointment, giving us the space to pour each wine slowly and talk honestly about the vintage. Walk-ins are welcome when the door is open — but a reservation ensures your time with us is unhurried.
